Three Sisters Consultancy is a family business founded and directed by Corrie McLean and Rhiann McLean.
Corrie has been working in education for a decade, developing her specialist skills in sexual health and inclusive learning. Corrie has a degree in English Literature from the University of Glasgow and a Postgraduate qualification in teaching from Strathclyde University. Corrie has spent her career working closely with vulnerable young people with additional support needs (including autism) and practitioners and parent and carers who support them. Her expertise is in designing and delivering sexual health programmes, as well as considering how our environment and communication methods can help make our practice more inclusive. Corrie’s work at Three Sisters centres around building capacity by helping professionals make long term changes to their approaches to learning. In her spare time Corrie enjoys spoiling her dog, being creative and cooking.
Rhiann has been working in the field of research and improvement across health and social care for the past five years. She has a degree in Public Policy from the University of Glasgow and a Postgraduate qualification in Counselling skills from the University of Strathclyde. After working for years as a support worker, Rhiann uses her experience in practice to support training and facilitation in social services. With an interest in supporting challenging conversations, Rhiann uses her background in counselling and facilitation to move groups away from circular conversations into resolution and action. Rhiann’s work at Three Sisters centres around supporting organisations to think in a more outcomes-focused and risk-enabling way to build stronger relationships. She also leads in our work with dementia and sexuality, an area of interest. In her spare time, you can find her walking her retired greyhound or indulging her love of tacky horror movies.
